The Koloa Rum Company in Kalaheo, Kauai, Hawaii, distills, blends, and bottles the Original Koloa Kauai Coffee Rum. Mashing raw sugar cane that has been distilled in 1210-gallon steam-operated copper pots to cut the filtered water from the historic Mount Waialeale is the process used to manufacture Koloa Coffee Rum. There are two distillations of this rum at 160–180 ABV. The Kauai Coffee Company and the Koloa Rum Company worked together to create this spirit. This rum is only 68 proof and 34% ABV.
