The same vodka is used to make Deep Eddy Ruby Red, which is distilled ten times in a state-of-the-art column still located in north Austin. Real grapefruit juice is then blended in to give it a tart punch, a hint of sweetness, a thick, silky texture, and a seductive pink hue. It has no artificial flavorings and is sweetened only with pure cane sugar. It smells just like a grapefruit that has just been cut. If you drink the juice straight, the alcohol content is reduced to 70 proof, but it still has a warming effect.
