Fidencio Tobala Joven Mezcal (750 ml)

Fidencio Mezcal is a product of four generations of expertise, utilizing their own estate-grown agave. Fidencio Mezcal is produced at the distiller/palenque Fabrica de Amigo del Mezcal. The brand’s namesake, Fidencio Jiménez, began his mezcal-making journey over a century ago when he relocated to Santiago Matatlán, Oaxaca. There, he immersed himself in the life of a Mezcalero, acquiring knowledge through trial and error and learning from his peers. Fidencio worked tirelessly with his son Enrique to hone their craft and pass down their expertise to the next generation. Back then, even the equipment used was locally sourced, with clay pots for fermentation, distillation, and storage, and river reeds for tubing.

Tasting Notes: Fidencio Tobala is made with 100% wild agave Tobala. It takes 12-15 years to mature and it’s pit roasted over black oak for five days before being double distilled in copper. This Mezcal has a variety and fruit and acidic flavors that present differently with every sip.
